Meet Travis Pickern

Travis is a lifelong entrepreneur with a passion for building and growing businesses. Originally from southern Oregon, he moved to Colorado in 2014 to open and operate the first Dutch Bros Coffee locations in the state. As a franchisee, Travis played a key role in driving the brand’s rapid growth and recognition in Colorado Springs. Under his leadership, the company expanded its footprint and achieved more than 5x revenue growth in just six years, grew its social media following over 20x, and scaled the team to well over 100 employees.
Travis also made community impact a priority. Through numerous charitable partnerships, his locations donated more than half a million dollars to organizations throughout Colorado Springs. After selling his Dutch Bros stores in 2020, Travis began helping other business owners grow, scale, and successfully exit their companies.
A proud father of four—three boys and a girl—Travis spends his free time golfing and fly fishing when he’s not working or enjoying family life. He has served on the boards of the Boys & Girls Club of the Pikes Peak Region and the Colorado Springs YMCA.
